Cookie Policy
Effective date: August 6, 2026
This policy covers cookies across the Tagls ecosystem: tagls.com, app.tagls.com, id.tagls.com, chat.tagls.com and lk.tagls.com.
The short version
We use almost no cookies, and none for tracking. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, and no cross-site profiling — on any of our sites. That is why you do not see a cookie consent banner: Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive does not require consent for storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you explicitly requested, and that is the only kind we rely on. This exemption applies only while cookies stay within that boundary — if a future feature needs anything more, it will appear in the table below and we will revisit consent before it ships.
What we actually use
The sign-in service (id.tagls.com) sets no cookies at all. Sign-in state lives in your browser's local storage on your device and in tokens sent with requests — not in cookies.
The wallet app sets no cookies either. Your tagl and app state are kept in your browser's local storage, on your device. They are not sent to our servers.
The full list of cookies that exist anywhere in the ecosystem:
| Cookie | Where | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
ref_attr |
tagls.com family | Referral attribution: set only when you follow a referral link or enter a referral code, so the referrer can be credited. Contains only a signed referral code — no browsing history, no identifiers of you. | 30 days |
lk_admin_session, lk_admin_oidc |
lk.tagls.com | Staff sign-in for the project's own admin console. Regular users never receive these. | Session-bound |
That is the complete list.
Local storage is not a cookie
Our apps keep working data (for example, your loaded tagl and interface state) in the browser's local storage. Unlike cookies, this data is not attached to requests and never leaves your device — we cannot read it. Deleting your browser data for our sites removes it.
Third parties
Our sites are delivered through Cloudflare, which may set technical cookies strictly required for security and content delivery on some responses. We embed no third-party analytics, advertising, or social-media scripts anywhere.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking ref_attr only affects referral crediting; nothing else on our sites depends on cookies, so everything keeps working.
Changes and contact
Material changes to this policy will be announced on the Service; the date above identifies the current version. How we handle personal data generally is described in the Privacy Policy. Questions: [email protected].
